MicroBank Lagos was established with a mission to bring digital banking services to underserved communities across Lagos State.
2019
First 1,000 Customers
Reached our first milestone of 1,000 active customers, primarily small business owners and market traders seeking accessible credit.
2020
Mobile App Launch
Launched our mobile-first banking platform, making it easier for customers to access loans, savings, and payments from their phones.
2021
Central Bank License
Received full microfinance banking license from the Central Bank of Nigeria, expanding our service capabilities and customer trust.
2022
₦1 Billion Disbursed
Crossed ₦1 billion in total loans disbursed to Lagos entrepreneurs, helping thousands grow their businesses and improve livelihoods.
2023
Regional Expansion
Opened three new branches across Lagos and began serving customers in Ogun State, bringing our total customer base to over 15,000.
2024
AI-Powered Credit
Introduced machine learning credit scoring to provide faster loan approvals and better rates for our customers with strong repayment histories.
